about me

My name is Alessandra. I am a doctoral student in Sociology at Princeton University. I have a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in sociology from Stanford University. I am from São Paulo, Brazil.

My research interests include mathematical sociology, philosophy of social science, predictability, and sociological methodology. I am interested in many substantive areas, including social mobility, family demography, social networks, and social psychology.

I am a fan of modernist paintings. Here in the right are some of my favorites.
